As part of our neighborhood revitalization programs, a new cleanup initiative known as the Believe in Beverly Neighborhood Cleanup was held Friday, November 7th, 2014. The event received substantial community support through sponsorships, partner organizations and volunteers. Additionally, in support of this program multiple City departments were involved on the day of the Blitz.
As part of the overall initiative, our work included demolishing red tagged properties, cleaning alleyways, streets, vacant lots, and landscape designated areas within the neighborhood. Furthermore, our work involved minor repairs and the painting of Beverly Park.
On Saturday April 18, 2015 we held a city wide neighborhood cleanup focusing on Highland Park, Rose Hill, and Beverly Heights neighborhoods. Future Fall cleanup plans are currently underway .
