  • - Regular house hold garbage properly placed in green poly-cart - Recyclables placed loosely in recycling cart with yellow lid - see lid for list of recyclables - Yard waste (leaves, pine needles, clippings, etc.) properly bagged in non-plastic biodegradable bags, cardboard boxes or personal trash cans - Limbs 3 inches in diameter or less, not longer than 4ft. in bundles of 40lbs or less

  • WM will collect up to 4 cubic yards of Bulk items once per month. One cubic yard of bulk waste is the equivalent of the addition of two of the 96 gallon waste carts or an item the size of a refrigerator, sofa, large chair, or washing machine. Those needing to remove an amount of bulk waste exceeding allotted cubic yards may make arrangements for the removal of such items by contacting Waste Management (903) 794-4111 to schedule a pick-up and make payment arrangements. Please have your bulk items at the curb by 7 a.m. Monday, of your scheduled bulk week.   • Yes, Waste Management operates a landfill that is located west of New Boston on U.S. 82, just east of I-30. There is no disposal fee for Texarkana residents for regular household waste (bring water bill for proof of residency). However, construction or remodel debris does not qualify for free disposal and will be charged on a per ton basis. The phone number is (903) 628-6595.

  • Yes, Texarkana Water Utilities accepts limbs, brush, etc., up to 8 inches in diameter, at its compost site located at 4000 S Stateline. Please call (903) 798-3860 for more information.
