The City of Texarkana, Texas was awarded a $1,000,000.00 Revolving Loan Fund from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in 2012. The purpose of this award is to create an avenue for property owners to apply for a low interest loan that covers the cleanup of environmental conditions. Some of those environmental conditions are asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, and petroleum products.
